1. 1998

   South African casino and amusement-centre operations begin in KwaZulu-Natal.

2. 1998–1999

   Legal and regulatory disputes concerning gaming machines, including court interdicts preventing police from raiding and closing certain amusement centres, and questions about whether machines without hoppers fell within the legal definition of gambling machines.

3. April 1999

   An agreement concerning police action against businesses associated with Trevor Erlank and business associate David Winter is reported during later court proceedings involving former KwaZulu-Natal organised-crime official Piet Meyer. This concerns proceedings and evidence, not a finding of conviction against Erlank.

4. 11 April 2000

   Agreement with Manuel Vallet Garriga, representing Catalonia Bávaro Resort, to develop a casino through Inversiones Azul del Este Dominicana S.A. — approximately 500 square metres of casino space, around US$500,000 in contract security and monthly rent of approximately US$50,000.

5. 2000

   Construction completed in approximately six months; the casino is equipped with approximately 150 slot machines and 10 gaming tables. Regulatory approval delays the start of operations.

6. 2001

   The 11 September attacks disrupt international aviation and Caribbean tourism, creating substantial commercial pressure on a new casino carrying significant fixed costs.

7. 2002

   The Riu Palace casino in Punta Cana is acquired and rebuilt — approximately 200 slot machines and 15 gaming tables — operating under the Sky International group through Grupo de Casinos Cielos Internacionales S.A. Sky International Inc. is registered in Panama, with branches including Sky International Europe, Inc., and functions as Erlank's international corporate vehicle, with Erlank serving as a director.

8. 2002

   An operating agreement with Breezes Resort in Punta Cana adds a casino of approximately 100 slot machines and 8 gaming tables.

9. 7 February 2003

   Agreement with Don José Manuel Molina de la Espada, representing the Fiesta Hotel Group, to develop and construct a casino through Cielos Internacionales — approximately 120 slot machines and 12 gaming tables.

10. Mid-2000s

    Development of cashless gaming and smart-card concepts intended to modernise slot-machine operations away from coin and cash handling.

11. Mid-2000s

    SkyKingCasino is developed as an online gaming brand, requiring online player accounts, digital payments, remote gaming and technology platforms.

12. 2000s

    An international casino project in Moscow, Russia, encounters operational difficulties and is subsequently affected by federal reforms removing conventional casino gambling from Moscow and other major population centres.

13. 2005

    A Dominican Supreme Court judgment records the later termination of the group's Riu Palace casino contract.

14. August 2006

    Hurricane Ernesto affects the Dominican Republic, disrupting infrastructure, tourism and casino trading; insurance issues extend the disruption.

15. Later 2000s

    International operations continue from Miami and London across multiple gaming jurisdictions, currencies and regulatory systems.

16. 2010s

    Dominican Republic interests are divested and the focus returns to Africa, with expansion into sports betting and online gaming.

17. 2017

    A Mozambican government publication records the registration of Megasports Mozambique, Limitada, with Trevor Erlank holding 180,000 meticais of the company's 200,000 metical stated capital — 90% — and another shareholder holding 10%.

18. 2019

    A report on the gaming market in Mozambique records that Waho Games — the local company originally registered as Megasports Mozambique, Limitada — founded the company Grande Rico Lda.

19. December 2019

    The Indian Ocean Newsletter (Africa Intelligence) reports on Grande Rico as a new Mozambican gaming venture associated with two former government ministers, including former defence minister Aguiar Jonassanes Mazula.

20. 22 March 2022

    A South African company registry record lists the incorporation of MEGAGAME (reg. no. K2022382190 / 2022/382190/07) in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, with Trevor Erlank as director.

21. April 2022

    Waho Games publishes its on-going association with MegaGameLive, describing MegaGameLive as one of Sub-Saharan Africa's leading bet-shop operators with a traditionally dominant position in the Mozambique gaming market.

22. 2020s

    Expansion into African online gaming through MegaGameLive, and gaming software development through Waho Games.

23. 2025

    An Eastern Cape Provincial Gazette records a bookmaker licence application connected with MegaGame (Pty) Ltd trading as MegaGame and identifies T Erlank in the relevant schedule.
