After approximately a decade of international operations, the Dominican Republic interests were divested and the focus moved to emerging African gaming markets.
2010s
MegaGame and African sports betting
The gaming industry had changed considerably during the years overseas. Online gaming was becoming increasingly important, mobile technology was transforming customer behaviour, and African markets were beginning to develop their own online sports-betting and gaming industries.
Erlank subsequently became involved in MegaGame, an African gaming and sports-betting business — the next stage of the progression from land-based casinos to technology-driven gaming. A 2025 Eastern Cape Provincial Gazette provides current public regulatory evidence connecting MegaGame (Pty) Ltd trading as MegaGame with a bookmaker licence application and identifies T Erlank in the relevant schedule.

The expansion into Mozambique became another important part of the African chapter. A 2017 Mozambican government publication records the registration of Megasports Mozambique, Limitada.

2019
Grande Rico Lda
The Mozambican operations continued to develop. A 2019 report on the gaming market in Mozambique records that Waho Games — the local company originally registered as Megasports Mozambique, Limitada — founded the company Grande Rico Lda. This connects the earlier Mozambican corporate record with the later Waho Games software business.
The Indian Ocean Newsletter (Africa Intelligence, December 2019) separately reported on Grande Rico as a new Mozambican gaming venture associated with two former government ministers, including former defence minister Aguiar Jonassanes Mazula.

2020s
MegaGameLive and Waho Games
The African expansion subsequently moved further into online gaming through MegaGameLive. The early casino businesses were physical locations containing gaming tables and slot machines; the newer businesses use online platforms to provide gaming and betting services.
Waho Games' own published information records an on-going association with MegaGameLive, describing MegaGameLive as one of Sub-Saharan Africa's leading bet-shop operators with a traditionally dominant position in the Mozambique gaming market — continuing the Mozambican presence that began with the 2017 Megasports Mozambique record.
The development of Waho Games represents another important part of the technology story. Rather than simply operating gaming businesses, the later stage of the career became increasingly connected with the development of gaming software. Waho Games' published information describes gaming solutions covering virtual games, lottery, electronic bingo, horse racing, dog racing and video slots.
